Indoor Skiing and a Bike Ride

When there's no snow, but plenty of dust and a lack of skis, but plenty of Christmas remnants you get creative!
This is Little G's version of hitting the slopes. I am always surprised at what he remembers and creatively reinvents later. He was scooting along the tile on these paper rolls and shouting, "I'm skiing, Mommy!"
He's so proud of his adventures! If only this winter sport was as cheap as his version. We would hit the slopes every weekend, I think.
And now for the bike ride of the traditional variety.
They were so happy to be outside. It was beautiful, cool, but beautiful. Not a cloud overhead, no fog, not freezing dampness-just sunshine!

A little brother determined to keep up with his big sister. Notice he is riding the pink and purple little bike. This spring we may need to invest in something a bit more "manly." We decided that since the days of outdoor activity are limited in the winter we should wait so that he doesn't outgrow it in five minutes!

That boy was wearing his "smarty pants" for sure. He is so darn cute we can hardly stand it! Apparently watching his big sister in ski lessons wasn't just a lark. He was studying! He would probably take off with few private lessons from Uncle Mikey and Auntie Mo and then you would have two of them flying down the slopes. Zone defense. Camden is so sweet and patient with him. Love, love, love her.

Uncle Mikey would be so proud. Can't wait to take these two out for a day on the slopes.
